Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 29,607,116 and represented 12.29% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.62M), followed by Georgia (2.51M), and Florida (2.31M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (42.73%), followed by Mississippi (35.99%), and Georgia (32.06%).
