Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 29,516,565 and represented 12.36% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.56M), followed by Georgia (2.49M), and Florida (2.28M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (43.41%), followed by Mississippi (36.37%), and Georgia (32.20%).
