Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Ohio was 1,245,335 and represented 11.02% of the total Ohio citizen population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (371.80K), followed by Franklin (227.79K), and Hamilton (200.62K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (29.96%), followed by Hamilton (25.74%), and Montgomery (21.01%).
