Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Ohio was 1,315,935 and represented 11.44% of the total Ohio citizen population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (362.27K), followed by Franklin (281.40K), and Hamilton (205.10K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (29.52%), followed by Hamilton (25.63%), and Franklin (22.76%).
