Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Ohio was 1,311,185 and represented 11.40% of the total Ohio citizen population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (357.14K), followed by Franklin (283.95K), and Hamilton (202.77K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (29.43%), followed by Hamilton (25.40%), and Franklin (22.96%).
