Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the citizen population for New Mexico was 1,934,775 and represented 93.48% of the total New Mexico population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest citizen population (619.38K), followed by Do�a Ana (187.32K), and Santa Fe (130.82K).

In terms of percentages, Quay had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.61%), followed by Catron (99.46%), and Harding (98.54%).
