Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen population for New Mexico was 1,945,130 and represented 93.51% of the total New Mexico population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest citizen population (624.17K), followed by Do�a Ana (189.32K), and Santa Fe (132.49K).

In terms of percentages, Catron had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.59%), followed by Quay (99.43%), and McKinley (98.67%).
