Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen voting-age population for Vermont was 491,550 and represented 78.48% of the total Vermont population.

Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden had the highest citizen voting-age population (123.53K), followed by Rutland (49.10K), and Washington (46.81K).

In terms of percentages, Rutland had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.66%), followed by Essex (79.86%), and Windham (79.54%).
