Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen voting-age population for Vermont was 521,797 and represented 80.64% of the total Vermont population.

Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden had the highest citizen voting-age population (136.51K), followed by Rutland (49.56K), and Washington (48.56K).

In terms of percentages, Essex had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.23%), followed by Windham (82.18%), and Rutland (82.03%).
