Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the citizen voting-age population for Vermont was 512,070 and represented 79.81% of the total Vermont population.

Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden had the highest citizen voting-age population (132.42K), followed by Rutland (49.55K), and Washington (47.95K).

In terms of percentages, Essex had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.08%), followed by Rutland (81.69%), and Grand Isle (81.52%).
