Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen population for New Mexico was 1,951,765 and represented 93.65% of the total New Mexico population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest citizen population (627.90K), followed by Do�a Ana (190.70K), and Sandoval (133.86K).

In terms of percentages, Mora had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (100.00%), followed by Catron (99.72%), and Guadalupe (98.79%).
