New York Citizen Population By County in 2015 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen population for New York was 17,625,645 and represented 89.59% of the total New York population.

Among all New York counties, Kings had the highest citizen population (2.17M), followed by Queens (1.81M), and Suffolk (1.39M).

In terms of percentages, Tioga had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.44%), followed by Seneca (99.35%), and Cortland (99.32%).
