Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen voting-age population for Montana was 781,250 and represented 76.99% of the total Montana population.

Among all Montana counties, Yellowstone had the highest citizen voting-age population (116.22K), followed by Missoula (88.72K), and Gallatin (74.11K).

In terms of percentages, Powell had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.80%), followed by Powder River (83.28%), and Deer Lodge (82.79%).
