Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the citizen voting-age population for Montana was 823,795 and represented 77.59% of the total Montana population.

Among all Montana counties, Yellowstone had the highest citizen voting-age population (121.53K), followed by Missoula (95.25K), and Gallatin (87.65K).

In terms of percentages, Treasure had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (88.62%), followed by Powell (86.12%), and Deer Lodge (85.09%).
