Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Ohio was 1,271,600 and represented 11.21% of the total Ohio citizen population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (368.06K), followed by Franklin (249.18K), and Hamilton (203.49K).
