Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the citizen voting-age population for Colorado was 3,824,440 and represented 71.36% of the total Colorado population.

Among all Colorado counties, El Paso had the highest citizen voting-age population (477.30K), followed by Denver (462.38K), and Jefferson (425.48K).

In terms of percentages, Mineral had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (91.82%), followed by San Juan (90.00%), and Ouray (84.95%).
