Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the citizen voting-age population for Massachusetts was 4,887,325 and represented 72.49% of the total Massachusetts population.

Among all Massachusetts counties, Middlesex had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.10M), followed by Worcester (594.15K), and Essex (549.35K).
