Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Oklahoma citizen voting-age population was 2.79M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.07M) and constituted 74.07% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (199.58K) and constituted 7.16% of the total. The Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (191.87K), constituting 6.88% of the total citizen voting-age population.
