Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Kansas was 1,276,885 and represented 46.00% of the total Kansas citizen population.

Among all Kansas counties, Sedgwick had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (43.57K), followed by Wyandotte (36.64K), and Johnson (23.64K).

In terms of percentages, Wyandotte had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (25.71%), followed by Geary (17.15%), and Sedgwick (8.95%).
