Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Kansas was 1,311,185 and represented 46.55% of the total Kansas citizen population.

Among all Kansas counties, Sedgwick had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (40.05K), followed by Wyandotte (30.75K), and Johnson (26.78K).

In terms of percentages, Wyandotte had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (21.06%), followed by Geary (16.52%), and Sedgwick (8.00%).
