Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population for Illinois was 144,755 and represented 1.21% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population (1.01M), followed by Kane (122.31K), and Lake (110.67K).
