Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Ohio was 1,281,810 and represented 11.26% of the total Ohio citizen population.

Among all Ohio counties, Cuyahoga had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (365.54K), followed by Franklin (263.51K), and Hamilton (204.41K).

In terms of percentages, Cuyahoga had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (30.02%), followed by Hamilton (25.96%), and Franklin (21.95%).
