Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the citizen voting-age population for California was 25,232,635 and represented 64.45% of the total California population.
Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest citizen voting-age population (6.27M), followed by San Diego (2.24M), and Orange (2.04M).
In terms of percentages, Sierra had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (83.62%), followed by Amador (82.25%), and Tuolumne (81.85%).
