Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the citizen voting-age population for Massachusetts was 4,992,535 and represented 72.88% of the total Massachusetts population.

Among all Massachusetts counties, Middlesex had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.12M), followed by Worcester (608.20K), and Essex (562.17K).

In terms of percentages, Barnstable had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.40%), followed by Hampshire (80.71%), and Berkshire (80.62%).
