South Dakota Citizen Voting-age Population By County in 2020 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the citizen voting-age population for South Dakota was 644,865 and represented 73.34% of the total South Dakota population.

Among all South Dakota counties, Minnehaha had the highest citizen voting-age population (135.61K), followed by Pennington (85.31K), and Lincoln (41.05K).

In terms of percentages, Custer had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.70%), followed by Fall River (81.99%), and Sully (80.86%).
