Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Connecticut was 1,317,960 and represented 39.15% of the total Connecticut citizen population.

Among all Connecticut counties, Capitol Planning Region had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (105.26K), followed by South Central Connecticut Planning Region (68.19K), and Western Connecticut Planning Region (54.26K).
