Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for Idaho was 1,376,250 and represented 72.69% of the total Idaho population.

Among all Idaho counties, Ada had the highest citizen voting-age population (381.87K), followed by Canyon (166.66K), and Kootenai (136.03K).

In terms of percentages, Custer had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (88.44%), followed by Boise (83.53%), and Clearwater (83.41%).
