Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for New York was 14,096,915 and represented 70.94% of the total New York population.

Among all New York counties, Kings had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.73M), followed by Queens (1.45M), and New York (1.20M).

In terms of percentages, Hamilton had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (86.77%), followed by Otsego (82.88%), and Delaware (82.57%).
