New Mexico Citizen Voting-age Population By County in 2024 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen voting-age population for New Mexico was 1,553,239 and represented 73.26% of the total New Mexico population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest citizen voting-age population (502.64K), followed by Doña Ana (155.27K), and Santa Fe (120.73K).

In terms of percentages, Catron had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (92.76%), followed by Mora (82.10%), and San Miguel (82.00%).
