Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for New Mexico was 989,960 and represented 63.74% of the total New Mexico citizen voting-age population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (13.22K), followed by Doña Ana (2.19K), and Sandoval (2.08K).

In terms of percentages, Curry had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (5.87%), followed by Lea (4.05%), and Otero (3.96%).
