According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the number of births for Illinois was 162,419. Cook County had the highest number of births (71,847), followed by DuPage County (10,731), and Will County (8,198) On the other hand, Pope County had the lowest number of births (33), followed by Hardin County (40), and Brown County (43).
