According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the number of births for Illinois was 148,028. Cook County had the highest number of births (63,529), followed by DuPage County (10,479), and Will County (7,525) On the other hand, Hardin County had the lowest number of births (25), followed by Pope County (28), and Calhoun County (43).
