According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the number of births for Louisiana was 56,482. East Baton Rouge had the highest number of births (5,627), followed by Jefferson (5,292), and Orleans (4,042) On the other hand, Tensas had the lowest number of births (39), followed by East Carroll (65), and Cameron (65).
