According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of births for Nebraska was 26,263. Douglas County had the highest number of births (8,585), followed by Lancaster County (3,978), and Sarpy County (2,490) On the other hand, McPherson County had the lowest number of births (4), followed by Loup County (5), and Blaine County (5).
