According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of South Dakota's cities and places (towns and villages), Rapid City city had the highest number of people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (9.85K), followed by Sioux Falls city (5.28K), and Pine Ridge CDP (3.00K).
