According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Alabama counties, Jefferson County had the highest population density per square mile (607.02 people per sqr mile), followed by Madison County (484.22 people per sqr mile), and Mobile County (337.42 people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Perry County had the lowest population density (11.83 people per sqr mile), followed by Wilcox County (11.94 people per sqr mile), and Greene County (11.95 people per sqr mile).
