According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Alaska counties, Anchorage Municipality had the highest population density per square mile (170.64 people per sqr mile), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (13.04 people per sqr mile), and Juneau City and Borough (11.93 people per sqr mile).
On the other hand, Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area had the lowest population density (0.04 people per sqr mile), followed by Lake and Peninsula Borough (0.06 people per sqr mile), and Yakutat City and Borough (0.09 people per sqr mile).
