According to the data from the US 2020 Census, as at April 2020, among all Maryland counties, Baltimore city had the highest population density per square mile (7.24K people per sqr mile), followed by Montgomery County (2.15K people per sqr mile), and Prince George's County (2.00K people per sqr mile).

On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest population density (44.38 people per sqr mile), followed by Dorchester County (60.16 people per sqr mile), and Kent County (69.30 people per sqr mile).
