Pennsylvania Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Pennsylvania voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 1,070,165 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 10.34% of the total voting-age population of Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (480,804), followed by Allegheny County (122,538), and Delaware County (93,795).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Cameron County (16), Potter County (34), and Elk County (57).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage, with 37.61% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Delaware County (20.85%), and Forest County (19.34%).
