According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the number of deaths for Colorado was 42,735. Denver County had the highest number of deaths (5,406), followed by El Paso County (5,259), and Jefferson County (5,002). On the other hand, San Juan County had the lowest number of deaths (6), followed by Hinsdale County (7), and Mineral County (10).
