According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the number of deaths for North Carolina was 83,529. Mecklenburg County had the highest number of deaths (5,647), followed by Wake County (4,840), and Guilford County (3,995). On the other hand, Tyrrell County had the lowest number of deaths (32), followed by Hyde County (53), and Camden County (66).
