Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 147,507 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in New Jersey and they represented 1.68% of the total population of New Jersey in 2010. Hudson County had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (23,301), followed by Essex County (22,500), and Passaic County (17,710). On the other hand, Sussex County had the lowest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone (328), followed by Warren County (344), and Hunterdon County (372).
