Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 251,881 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Michigan and they represented 2.55% of the total population of Michigan in 2011. Oakland County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (71,686), followed by Wayne County (48,011), and Washtenaw County (28,878). On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (2), followed by Oscoda County (10), and Schoolcraft County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Washtenaw County had the highest percentage (8.25%), followed by Oakland County (5.91%), and Ingham County (5.58%).
