United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2011

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 15,234,543 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 4.89% of the total US population in 2011.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (4,954,519), followed by New York (1,495,034), and Texas (1,014,049). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (4,496) followed by Montana (6,727), and North Dakota (7,550).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (37.56%), followed by California (13.16%), and New Jersey (8.58%).
