United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2015

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 17,307,706 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.40% of the total US population in 2015.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,489,160), followed by New York (1,644,469), and Texas (1,264,314). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,253) followed by Montana (8,251), and Vermont (10,477).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.35%), followed by California (14.11%), and New Jersey (9.27%).
