United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2020

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 19,579,116 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.91% of the total US population in 2020.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,987,825), followed by New York (1,838,840), and Texas (1,520,840). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,789) followed by Montana (10,234), and Vermont (12,741).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (35.98%), followed by California (15.16%), and New Jersey (10.08%).
