United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2020

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 19,564,626 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.90% of the total US population in 2020.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,998,694), followed by New York (1,831,076), and Texas (1,533,157). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,775) followed by Montana (10,186), and Vermont (12,671).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.53%), followed by California (15.19%), and New Jersey (10.03%).
