United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2019

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 19,075,130 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.81% of the total US population in 2019.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,919,583), followed by New York (1,734,486), and Texas (1,479,733). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,923) followed by Montana (9,916), and Vermont (12,142).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (35.99%), followed by California (15.01%), and New Jersey (9.93%).
