United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2018

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 18,728,396 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.73% of the total US population in 2018.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,845,796), followed by New York (1,720,035), and Texas (1,433,533). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,982) followed by Montana (9,306), and Vermont (11,960).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.07%), followed by California (14.82%), and New Jersey (9.81%).
