United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2022

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 20,219,232 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 6.07% of the total US population in 2022.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (6,086,732), followed by New York (1,841,363), and Texas (1,662,369). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,922) followed by Montana (11,319), and North Dakota (12,792).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.37%), followed by California (15.59%), and New Jersey (10.27%).
