United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2022

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 20,276,025 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 6.08% of the total US population in 2022.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (6,083,599), followed by New York (1,851,641), and Texas (1,654,482). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,923) followed by Montana (11,582), and Vermont (13,154).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (35.90%), followed by California (15.59%), and New Jersey (10.34%).
