Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 614,422 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Illinois and they represented 4.78% of the total population of Illinois in 2011. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (337,659), followed by DuPage County (96,614), and Lake County (45,865). On the other hand, Gallatin County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (5), followed by Pope County (11), and Calhoun County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, DuPage County had the highest percentage (10.45%), followed by Champaign County (9.51%), and Lake County (6.54%).
